Remsons Industries wins mega order worth Rs. 300 crore from Stellantis North America

New Delhi: Mumbai-based auto component manufacturer Remsons Industries has secured a landmark order worth Rs.300 crore from Stellantis North America, according to a filing to the bourses.

The contract covers supply of control cables for Stellantis’ portfolio of smart cars, jeeps and three-wheelers. This 7 year contract is one of the largest in Remsons’ history, helping it grow across geographies in the automotive components sector.

This deal is particularly significant for the company, especially as its stock value has seen increased volatility in the past week, even as it has reported a strong year-on-year increase in profits and a strong operating profit ratio.

In addition to this, the company also acquired a 51.01% majority stake in electric three-wheeler company Astro Motors for Rs.14.22 crore in April 2025. This marks its foray into the promising commercial 3-wheeler EV market in India, where rising fuel prices and the E-commerce boom have boosted demand for sustainable last-mile connectivity.

Established in 1971, Remsons Industries is listed both on the BSE and NSE and manufactures gear shifters, control cables, and other mechanical control systems for automakers like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Ford Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra. It has manufacturing locations in India and the UK.
